Dreamgirl Launches Updated Diamond Collection

LOS ANGELES Dreamgirl is adding new features to its packaged lingerie Diamond Collection for 2012/2013.

The new additions feature a bright white background that frames the enlarged front and back images, a front placement of the style number for easy reference and the multiple plastic windows on both sides of the box allow for easy viewing by the consumer.

According to the company, many styles have a gold banner along the bottom of the image to ensure the consumer can readily recognize the value of additional items included with the lingerie such as eye masks, wrist restraints or intimate toys.

The Diamond Collection consists of One Size Fits Most and One Size Fits Most Queen. They also include a matching thong or g-string and are available from $8 to $13 wholesale.

“We are launching our updated Diamond packaging this year with the new Red Diamond box,” Dreamgirl CEO Christopher Scharff said. “We think the new packaging will increase sales by creating a strong bright statement for our retailer’s wall systems. In addition, we enhanced our Black Diamond Packaging with larger images on both front and back to feature more design details.”

The company said the packaged line has a new look with a bright white background that will allow the package lingerie to pop off the retailer’s merchandised wall systems and catch the consumer’s eye.

"Dreamgirl also added more styles with our signature communication feature to increase consumer awareness of added value programs – the gold call out banner," the company said. Categories that will have this special banner include Dreamgirl’s Bedroom Costumes and Fashion Forward Fetish, including select Blue Diamond men’s styles that coordinate with the women’s product.

Dreamgirl added enlarged images on the front and back to show the customer more design details, the company said. The company launched various designs such as the Light-Up, Reversible, Versatile, Convertible and the Quick Change costumes for women.

In 2004, Dreamgirl introduced its luxurious coffee table look book and evergreen boxed lingerie program the Diamond Collection, to resounding success. For 2011, Dreamgirl expanded into a 93,000 square-foot warehouse facility with increased automated fulfillment and shipping capabilities.

Improved supply chain management has enabled the company to introduce products more often and ship faster to retailers.
